An Entire Festival Dedicated To Wine Is Coming To Town
Wine bright like a diamond. You’ve been to plenty of food festivals and melas but Delhi’s really pushing all our fun buttons this time with a two-day festival revolving around wine.
Put On Your Winest
Or not. The main goal of Delhi Wine Festival is to make wine more accessible and understandable even to those of us who may not know the difference between a Pinot Noir and a Malbec. Now when we’re all set to go wine drinking out in the capital, we make sure to time it with payday, for obvious reasons. DWF however is promising international wines at Rs 400 a glass (taxes included) so you don’t have to start dreading credit card bills the morning after.
On The Table
The finest wine labels from countries like Spain, Portugal, Italy, New Zealand, France, Australia, Chile and Argentina. There’s also going to be a wine 101 session in case you want to educate yourself a little bit or just want to confirm if you’re holding that glass right. Paired with tapas and BBQ done by the QLA folks.
There’s also going to be a bunch of prominent artists (including The CopyCats, Tanya Nambiar and The Revisit Project) performing live in the evenings. All this in pre-Holi pleasant March weather.
Cheers!
Venue: QLA, Next To Qutab Minar, 4-A Seven Style Mile, Kalka Das Marg, Mehrauli
Dates: March 2-3, 2019
